The Florida Gulf Coast University Canine Database is a clearinghouse of published research on police and work dogs. This database publishes research, technical reports, and data collected in other canine-related projects. Despite the fact that several hundred articles exist, very few are accessible outside of the university environment in full text. This database is accessible (at no cost) by anyone with an Internet connection. Our goal is to make it possible for service dog handlers to be able to have access to articles that are difficult to find if they are not affiliated with a university. While all of the articles within the database have been copy written by their respective journals, their editors have graciously allowed us to post this material here for your use. This project was funded by a $5000 grant from the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs at Florida Gulf Coast University.
